Colombian Red Sativa Reinforced with Authentic Haze

This line is built upon a pure Colombian Punto Rojo that had already been crossed in Colombia with Seedsman Original Haze. I subsequently pollinated the selected Punto Rojo/OHz mother with my multi-tested Original Haze ’90 breeder male, creating a Haze-dominant reinforcement of the original Colombian foundation:

Punto Rojo/Original Haze × Original Haze ’90

Punto Rojo is one of Colombia’s most celebrated traditional Sativas. The name refers to the distinctive red pistils found in characteristic phenotypes. Old expressions are associated with long, elegant floral structures, thin leaves, fruit, wood and incense aromas, and an energetic, euphoric effect.

The Seedsman Original Haze already present in the mother introduced the sweet-and-sour, mildly psychedelic and uplifting qualities traditionally associated with that preservation line. Seedsman described its Original Haze as descending from Colombian, Mexican, Thai and South Indian Sativa ancestry.

By returning this selected Colombian-Haze mother to my Original Haze ’90 male, the line is pushed further toward the most desirable old Haze characteristics: shimmering resin, increased potency, THCV potential, long-lasting cerebral energy and an intensely positive effect.

The Colombian foundation should remain clearly recognisable. Expect tall, vigorous plants with substantial stretch, long branches and elegant Sativa flowers. Phenotypes may express reddish or purple pistils and a broad aromatic range including tropical fruit, dry wood, herbal spice, earthy resin and Colombian incense. The Haze male may add sharper citrus, metallic spice and a deeper church-incense character.

The effect should be highly cerebral, energetic and expansive. Punto Rojo contributes warmth, euphoria and an open, creative state, while the reinforced Haze ancestry adds intensity, duration and the electric mental lift associated with authentic Original Haze.

Expect:

A deeply Haze-dominant Colombian Sativa with tropical fruit, dry wood, spice and powerful incense aromas. Energetic, euphoric, creative and exceptionally long-lasting, with strong resin production and broad old-school Sativa expression.

Not a modern shortcut, but a deliberate reinforcement of the historic relationship between Colombian Sativas and Original Haze.
